Opportunity

The Director of Sales Operations plays a critical role in the success of the company by developing and implementing strategies to optimize sales processes, improve efficiency, and maximize revenue. This individual will be responsible for leading and managing the sales operations team. Expertise in sales operations, data analysis, and leadership will be essential in achieving sales targets and ensuring the smooth operation of the sales organization. The individual will report to the Chief Operating Officer at CloudSAFE.

 

Responsibilities

  •  Develop and execute sales operations strategies to drive revenue growth, streamline processes, and improve overall sales performance.
  •  Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to align business objectives and enhance sales effectiveness.
  •  Establish and maintain sales processes, including lead management, forecasting, territory planning, and sales compensation plans.
  •  Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for sales growth and develop actionable insights for the sales team.
  •  Implement and manage sales analytics tools and systems to track key performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior leadership.
  •  Lead and mentor the sales operations team, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and performance.
  •  Collaborate with IT teams to optimize the use of sales technology tools and CRM systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  •  Drive sales forecasting and pipeline management activities to provide accurate and timely revenue projections.
  •  Identify areas of improvement in sales processes, tools, and systems and implement necessary changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  •  Stay updated with industry best practices and trends in sales operations and leverage that knowledge to drive continuous improvement.

 

Qualifications 

  •  Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.
  •  Proven experience (8+ years) in sales operations, preferably within the IT industry.
  •  Experience with Salesforce required.
  •  Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  •  Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  •  Proficiency in sales analytics tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Excel.
  •  Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
  •  Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
  •  Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior executives.
  •  Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving sales performance and achieving targets.
  •  Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
