In August 2017, Greenrise partnered with Boyne Capital, a Miami, FL-based Private Equity firm that seeks to forge lasting and collaborative relationships with companies and support them in achieving their next phase of growth. Since then, the business has had eight add-on acquisitions and continues to see year-over-year growth through organic initiatives.


Opportunity

The Vice President of Human Resources will define and execute an exemplary HR strategy that supports the rapid growth (organically + acquisitions) of the company. The ideal candidate has a demonstrated record of being a trusted advisor to senior leadership with confirmed results in impacting business objectives within an acquisitive PE-sponsored environment.


Responsibilities

  • Oversight of the HR function including compensation, benefits, labor relations, compliance, talent acquisition/retention, and culture management
  • Build out the HR infrastructure and structure the department
  • Drive the implementation and or conversion of the full suite of HRIS, Paylocity
  • Partner closely with the CFO to consolidate employee benefits and policies
  • Develop and deploy the people and culture integration strategy
  • Work and communicate across multi-state/site/functions to ensure HR objectives are in alignment with driving achievement of the overall business objectives
  • Ensure compliance with employment, insurance, workers' compensation, safety laws and regulations
  • Manage cost budgets in real-time and create visibility to the leadership team and the Board
  • Participate in the annual budgeting process
  • Function as a liaison to the Board/PE sponsor and an advisor to the leadership team


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 12+ years of progressive human resource management experience required, with a minimum of 3 years managing the HR function within a mid-sized company [600+ employees]
  • Led multi-state benefits consolidation/administration
  •  Experience working with PE sponsors/led acquisition integrations of add-acquisitions
  •  Strong knowledge of federal, state, and city employment laws
  •  Experience working with field services or construction labor force
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification is highly preferred
