Sales Manager


Flatworld Solutions (“FWS”) is a US-based BPO providing tech-enabled outsourced services to customers in numerous industry verticals, leveraging its expertise in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and automation to cost-effectively help its customers grow. In essence, FWS enables businesses throughout the world to build efficiency, negate global distances, save time, and increase bottom lines. Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Princeton, NJ, FWS operates globally, with sales and delivery centers in India, the Philippines, South America, and the US. These offices provide strategic support and placement of personnel for customer-enhancing solutions. 


Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Sales Manager, Engineering Services, is a newly established role tasked with developing and executing the outside sales strategy to accelerate growth and maximize revenue within Flatworld Solutions’ Engineering Services vertical. The ideal candidate brings engineering services sales experience, with an expert understanding of selling technical product solutions. Familiarity with and ability to speak to engineering process challenges, blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD (computer-aided design) will be imperative to success in the role. FWS is a high growth, entrepreneurial BPO, and as such, this is an opportunity for a driven salesperson to participate meaningful as the organization scales.


  •    Establish and manage annual sales goals, strategy, and budget in collaboration with the COO
  •    Develop and drive business, and account planning for engineering services sales strategy
  •    Consistently achieve/exceed individual sale goals
  •    Bring subject matter expertise, strategy, and support to customer engagements
  •    Leverage engineering background or technical sales experience to drive new customer acquisition
  •    Monitor the market and competitor services
  •    Review customer activity, anticipate needs, improve customer satisfaction, and grow solution footprints/offerings within the customer base
  •    Provide ongoing support to key customers and partner relationships



  •    Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science preferred, related discipline, or equivalent experience
  •    Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering services, technical, and/or services solution selling with strong knowledge in engineering and latest standards
  •    Proven and verifiable track record of consistently achieving or exceeding assigned sales goals within engineering services sales
  •    Exceptional analytical, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  •    Willing/able to travel within the US 60+%
