The Opportunity

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Accounting Manager will be a key partner to the executive 

leadership team in the execution of the company’s strategic growth and achievement of financial 

goals. We are seeking a highly driven professional to contribute to the building of a top-tier 

accounting infrastructure that will support Focal Point Solutions Group’s rapid growth and 

acquisition strategy. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth, PE-backed 

environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison for Private Equity sponsor
• Motivate, lead, and develop a team of 3-4
• Establish financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems
• Execute the monthly closing process
• Assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of the annual capital 
• and operating budget process in collaboration with other members of the executive team
• Implement operational and financial metrics to drive strategic decision making 
• concerning expansion
• Assist in the planning and implementation of accounting ERP system and other 
• tools to drive efficiencies in the organization
• Lead the integration of accounting functions for new acquisitions
• Complete weekly flash/KPI dashboard
• Help to drive financial and operating improvements
• Support internal and external audits

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience including 2-3 years of audit at a national public accounting firm and 1-2 years in a supervisory role in the private sector
• Willing/able to travel 10%-15%
• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills
• Experience with SaaS Accounting is a plus
• Experience in finance with a PE-backed private company is a plus
