Boyne Capital is a Miami, FL-based Private Equity firm that seeks to forge lasting and collaborative relationships with companies whose founders and families are still deeply involved in growing their businesses. Boyne is partnering with existing management to recapitalize Galleher, to further grow the company via organic initiatives and strategic acquisitions.

Opportunity

Reporting to the CEO, the Vice President of Finance will support the execution of the company’s strategic growth and achievement of financial goals. We are seeking a driven professional with the experience and motivation to develop a top-tier financial reporting infrastructure that will support the company’s accelerated growth. This individual will be involved in strategic decisions and will gain exposure to almost all aspects of the company’s operations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and understands the exciting career trajectory of a private equity finance professional.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key liaison for Private Equity sponsor
• Establish financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems
• Design, implement and oversee the monthly closing process
• Lead the planning, coordination, and implementation of the annual capital and operating budget process in collaboration with other members of the executive team
• Support acquisition activities including due diligence and post-acquisition integration within the accounting function
• Develop operational and financial metrics to drive strategic decision making concerning growth
• Manage and develop the accounting team
• Complete weekly flash/KPI dashboard
• Coordinate with operations to drive financial and operating improvements
• Lead external audits

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of audit experience at a national public accounting firm is required
• Manufacturing, supply chain, and or distribution experience
• Exceptional analytical and organizational skills
• Experience with NetSuite is highly valued
• Experience in finance with a PE-backed private company is a plus
• Post-acquisition integration experience is a plus
