Opportunity

The Chief Operating Officer is a key member of the executive leadership team with strategic oversight of the day-to-day management of the company’s operations. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Directors, the COO is responsible for planning, controlling, and managing the critical operational activities of the company, integrating strategic acquisitions, building and maintaining relationships with department heads, executives, vendors, Board of Directors, and the PE Sponsor.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day to day e-commerce operations of the business and effectively communicate the opportunities and risks to the CEO, Board of Directors, and Private Equity sponsor
• Primary lead in onboarding and effectively integrating newly acquired business units into the company
• Provide support in evaluating M&A opportunities
• Work with managers to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet specifications and industry standards
• Develop and implement growth strategies and critical strategic initiatives
• Evaluate performance against schedules and budgets and take necessary action to address deviations
• Manage relationships with partners/vendors/suppliers
• Act as a key liaison for Private Equity sponsor

Qualifications

• Proven track record of success in a COO or similar role within a high-growth, rapidly scaling e-commerce business
• Strong financial acumen/P&L experience
• M&A due diligence and acquisition integration experience required; within a PE-sponsored environment is highly valued
• Demonstrated experience building highly effective teams
• Exceptional analytical, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• BS/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MS/MBA is a plus
• Able/willing to be onsite in Pittsburg, CA and Memphis, TN as needed
