Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President of Marketing is a key thought partner and member of the executive leadership team. The VP of Marketing will lead the overall brand strategy, including vision, purpose, positioning, brand essence, business model, core strategies, long-term objectives, software/technology developments, and priorities with the goal of growing the company’s B2B customer base. This will be achieved by inspiring and leading the marketing team to create meaningful and authentic consumer experiences.
Develop, communicate and execute against a comprehensive and differentiating global brand marketing strategy
Provide clear purpose and priority, leadership, management, and guidance to the marketing team
Optimize Marketing Department’s financial resources for greatest ROI / achievement against agreed strategic objectives
Develop, maintain and grow our Shopify e-commerce websites, including but not limited to website design, website development, product management, customer profiling, day-to-day merchandising, creative copy…
Develop, manage, and optimize the customer journey across all websites through A/B testing, landing pages, and strategic funnels
Grow online presence through strategic SEO initiatives and campaigns to raise rankings on all search platforms
Build specific SEO strategies for both B2B and B2C targeting
Develop and manage all paid media opportunities on search platforms, social platforms, advertising platforms, large publications
Create and execute a social media strategy for all brands to maximize website traffic and brand awareness
Lead post-acquisition integration of newly acquired websites to Shopify and into the company’s internal ecosystem
Collaborate with all other departments for key insights on consumer behavior, market share, and other metrics
Direct, further build, and develop a high-performance team and 3rd party resources supporting all marketplaces, Shopify, and related digital activation to deliver best-in-class results
10+ years of relevant Marketing experience in a highly successful B2B, brand-driven, product or service organization, with a minimum of 5 years leading a diverse, highly qualified, results-oriented Marketing team
5+ years of experience managing multiple Shopify eCommerce websites
5+ years of experience building and managing complete SEO strategies for multiple websites at one time
Bachelor level degree in a related field, MBA or equivalent preferred
