The Marketing Director will be responsible for establishing a holistic marketing strategy (branding, social media, content creation, PR campaigns, etc.) to increase sales, boost brand awareness and reputation, and improve customer engagement and experience. This individual will coordinate across internal and outsourced marketing resources to refresh brand strategy and design, redesign the website to engage customers, and optimize promotional activities and advertising spend across various platforms. In addition, this role will facilitate successful new product launches by researching the demand for new products and services, developing advertising strategies to maximize awareness, and driving early sales volume. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing successful marketing campaigns and will seek a “hands-on” role, operating in an autonomous work environment. The Marketing Manager will work alongside the executive team and report directly to the CEO.
Evaluate and develop our marketing strategy and annual marketing plans
Build brand awareness and positioning
Research demand and assess marketing strategies for new and existing products and services
Manage multiple outsourced marketing relationships
Evaluate and reallocate ad spend across all channels to improve effectiveness and/or reduce costs
Establish and monitor appropriate KPIs to assess the effectiveness of various marketing initiatives
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
A minimum of 7 years of experience managing marketing strategy and customer experience (e-commerce experience highly preferred)
Proven track record of managing marketing KPIs (e.g., ROAS, ACoS) to optimize ad spend and improve customer engagement
Experience with new product launches, brand refreshes, and website redesign
Strong copywriting and technical skills, including proficiency in navigating various marketing platforms
