An established manufacturer and distributor of metal and wood components based in Los Angeles, CA with a second facility in Texas. The company supplies commercial transportation manufacturers and has a strong record of growth and profitability.

Boyne Capital is a Miami, FL-based Private Equity firm that seeks to forge lasting and collaborative relationships with companies whose founders and families are still deeply involved in growing their businesses. Boyne is partnering with the company’s existing leadership team on accelerating growth via organic initiatives and strategic acquisitions.


Opportunity

Reporting to the President, the Vice President of Finance is a newly established position that will support the execution of the company’s strategic growth and achievement of financial goals. We are seeking a driven professional with the experience and motivation to develop a top-tier accounting infrastructure that will support the company’s accelerated growth. This individual will be involved in critical decisions and will gain exposure to almost all aspects of the company. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth, PE-backed environment, and understands the career trajectory that this unique opportunity offers.


Responsibilities

Act as a key liaison for Private Equity sponsor

Establish financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems

Design, implement and oversee the monthly closing process

Lead the planning, coordination, and implementation of the annual capital and operating budget process in collaboration with other members of the executive team

Support acquisition activities including due diligence and post-acquisition integration within the accounting function

Develop operational and financial metrics to drive strategic decision making concerning growth

Manage and develop the accounting team

Complete weekly flash/KPI dashboard

Coordinate with operations to drive financial and operating improvements

Lead external audits


Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of audit experience at a national public accounting firm is required

Manufacturing, supply chain, and or distribution experience

Exceptional analytical and organizational skills

Experience with Sage is highly valued

Experience in finance with a PE-backed private company is a plus

Post-acquisition integration experience is a plus


Compensation

Annual base + target bonus + equity
