Masters is a building products development, manufacturing, and distribution company focused on flooring and trim material. The Company uses eco-friendly materials, offering ~130 flooring styles between interior and exterior applications, ~500 molding products that include decorative trims and transitions moldings, 25 installation products, and more than 30 outdoor products such as siding, decking, turf, and pavers. The Company owns its IP and has trademarked 95% of the products it sells (by 2020 sales). The company has shown 35% organic growth over the past three years and is projected to have record sales in 2021.

The Controller will be a key partner to the executive leadership team as well as the Board of Directors in the execution of the company’s strategic growth and achievement of financial goals. Act as a key liaison for Private Equity sponsor
Establish financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems
Design, implement and oversee the monthly closing process
Lead the planning, coordination, and implementation of the annual capital and operating budget process in collaboration with other members of the executive team
Develop operational and financial metrics to drive strategic decision making with respect to expansion
Complete weekly flash/KPI dashboard
Coordinate with operations at distribution sites across the Southeast to drive financial and operating improvements
Lead external audits
A minimum of 3 years of audit experience at a national public accounting firm is required
Exceptional analytical and organizational skills
Experience with NetSuite and inventory management systems is highly valued
Experience in finance with a PE-backed private company is a plus
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Distribution business experience preferred
